Overall?  Was there any area where the performance data indicates an improvement opportunity for either hospital? Of all the areas, which one would you watch most closely if you were in charge of performance improvement?  Choose one of the key indicators (e.g., pneumonia readmission data) and speculate about external factors that may influence the data of either of your hospitals.  What additional data would you need to gather and analyze for that key indicator before suggesting improvement activities and recommendations?
