- Make two separate lists highlighting those personal features (personality, culture, interests, etc.) that make you the same, and make you different from a group with which you have regular contact (preferably a work-related group, or one involving an organization with which you are involved).
- Using the five spectrums of cultural differences, identify your preferences. Just for the fun of it, also identify the perspectives of the individuals with which you are most likely to experience conflict.
- Using the sources of conflict outlined by Shearhouse, identify which one is at the root of a conflict you are currently facing. What advice might be helpful?
