Take a play (or two) and dissect a theme present in the play. If you choose 2 plays, contrast them as you write. The play choices are Raisin in the Sun and Inherit the Wind. The goal is not to talk about themes discussed in class (American Dream, racism, evolution vs. creationism) but rather branch out and discover a new idea. Avoid simple plot summary. Find an argument, and use the play(s) as support and persuade.
