FINAL DRAFT Writing Prompt At the end of Unit 3, you will submit a 1400-1600 word (about 5-7 pages, plus the works cited page) Research-Based Synthesis Essay that incorporates a minimum of six sources. A minimum of two of these sources must be from the MDC Library database system. In this essay, you must: 1. Present a problem facing our South Florida community. 2. Explain why this is an important issue that needs to be addressed by detailing the impact is it having on our community. 3. Present a solution that could be used to address this problem or part of it. Your essay should bring the sources you choose into conversation with each other in order to present and showcase multiple perspectives on the topic/issue.
