This means a certain academic quality is expected from it. i will try to help you here now with a few suggestions and hope you can revise the essay based on this. your revision is really good and only misses a few elements, e.g. the research question as well as the analytical part. so far, the moment you venture into the discussion on the fashion designers it is more a presentation of them rather than an analysis through a questions with the application of a method. so, i suggest you create a clear question, e.g. what elements make the fashion of the three designers xx xx and xx in particular a unisex? how do the designers relate fashion and “doing gender” (or you chose the concept “gender performativity”)? how is gender is perceived as sth that is done through “speech acts” which includes fashion (see Butler on this) and bodily presentation, instead of something inert and biological?
