SCENARIO: You are the Human Resource Manager of a company. You had a previous conversation with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company where you stressed the importance of having the HR department play a greater role within the company. You only briefly spoke with them but got them to agree to meet with you. After reading two articles you decided to summarize these articles in a memo to the CEO and COO, so they would have a better understanding of what you intend to discuss in greater detail during your upcoming meeting. INSTRUCTIONS: In the Lesson 2 folder you will see two articles: “7 HR Challenges and How to Face Them” and “Top 10 HR Challenges of 2019”. Read them. Decide on a company for this assignment. It can be an established business or a pretend one.  If the company is real, then you will need to find out the names of the CEO and COO of the company. If the company is not real, then you will make up the names.
