How Does the Law of Supply and Demand Affect Prices?

THIS POST MUST BE DONE IN APA STYLE, APA CITATION, AND APA REFERENCE. In the assigned reading from the intro in chapter four supply is as stated as follows in the following quote They determine the quantity of each good produced and the price at which it is sold (Mankiw, G., 2018). An increase or decrease in demand is a determining factor in production/supply (Mankiw, G., 2018). Price is a leading factor in demand shifts as well as changes regarding given product, service, what have you (Mankiw, G., 2018). Whereas an increase in demand would lead to an increase in price, as well as leading to greater production, and vice versa whereas the lower the price of goods, or services result from high demand, and with increased production again will come increased prices, coming full-circle if I understand correctly (Mankiw, G., 2018) (www.toppr.com). Based on some reviewed materials an increase in demand could also lead to a decrease in price after an initial increase in price, partly for the reason of lowered costs incurred within regard to resources-(factors of production) for increased production; however, due to profit would lead to decreased prices overall (KRAMER, Updated Jun 25, 2019). This increase in demand as well as the cost to the consumer for a given product, and such would increase production increasing sales then after a greater profit margin, and less demand lowering prices for given goods, or services, what have you, If I am not mistaken (KRAMER, Updated Jun 25, 2019). -Nicholas- References Mankiw, G.
