Personal statement for master psychology program application.
Needed to contain:
First part: illustrate why Im applying this program (express affection of this program) furthermore, I am major in International studies in my undergraduate program, from this program I know from historical perspective and political perspective, psychology has been playing very important role in the world stage, in every decision making which made up the world now.
Second part: what efforts Ive done to achieve my goal
1. Internship in psychological hospital, assistant in counseling psychology office, helping doctor do recordings when he was doing psychotherapy , preparing ppt for classes, attend meetings about the mental health of all kinds of people during coronavirus. And emphasize how this experience made me want to be a counselor.
2. voluntary experience in Nepal (reflects communication skill, patient, want to make efforts to help people thats why choosing consulting psychology, etc…some other advantages of volunteering program).
3. Ivymax internship: build leadership skill by leading a group of members; was advocating a program in a village by loaning money to help people.
