The Frontline documentary, Poor Kids, provides a view into the lives of several families who are caught in the cycle of powerful stressors, including poverty and homelessness.

Write an essay comparing and analyzing the children and their families profiled in this documentary. Use Times New Roman, 12 point font. Write a minimum of 3 pages.

Address each of the following prompts in your essay:

Use the Ecological Systems Model to analyze each family featured in the film. Identify and discuss the events that occurred in their lives within the theory’s lens, Meso, Macro, and Chrono systems.
Explain how the events within the various systems had an impact on the family’s Microsystem. In other words, what occurred within the outside reaches of each of the families and how did it have a direct impact on their existence and their day to day lives.
How did the educational systems cope with the growing population of families in crisis, including homelessness and financial stressors?
how would the different challenges experiences by these families affect the socialization process and emotional development of the children?
