Discuss the interconnection between photosynthesis and cellular respiration.

In this module you have been introduced to the major concepts and terms relating to cellular respiration and photosynthesis. Completing this activity will assist you in mastering Module Outcomes 1-6: MO1: Summarize cell respiration. (CO2) MO2: Correlate the anatomy and function of mitochondria. (CO2) MO3: List and explain the three steps of cell respiration. (CO2) MO4: Describe an overview of photosynthesis. (CO2) MO5: Discuss the structure and function of chloroplasts. (CO2) MO6: Explain light reactions and the Calvin Cycle. (CO2) After reading the Module Notes and the textbook chapters and completing both M3D1 and M3A1, demonstrate your knowledge by answering the questions below. Each prompt or question should be answered in full sentences and should be 100-200 words. You may use your textbook, Mastering Biology, or other outside sources as references, but you must provide references using proper (Links to an external site.) style formatting. For assistance with APA style formatting, visit the Library (Links to an external site.) or the Excelsior OWL (Links to an external site.). Cite your references at the end of each answer. Number each response for every question in your essay. 1. Discuss four differences between photosynthesis and cellular respiration: First summarize each process, Next discuss four ways the processes differ. 2. Discuss the interconnection between photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Include the terms energy, process, ATP, oxygen, carbon dioxide, cells (cellular), producers, glucose, and consumers in your response. 3. Explain why we die in seconds without oxygen. Your response should include the terms ATP, electrons, acceptor, and energy. 4. Read this brief article on Dinosaur Extinction (Links to an external site.). How do hypotheses on the extinction of the dinosaurs relate to photosynthesis? Include the terms wavelength, producers, heterotrophs and photosynthesis in your response. 5. Describe the anatomy of chloroplasts and mitochondria. Explain the activity associated with each structure. Check your work and correct any spelling or grammatical errors.
