HRM Effectiveness Improvement Plan:
Chosen Topic: Employee Retention
Organization: Current organization: I will be changing the name of the organization.
Problem/Issue: Retaining employee is an issue. We are losing employees at a rapid speed. It is a revolving door.
Reasons for my Choice: My organization seems to be lacking realistic benchmarks and lacks the resources and tools needed to retain its employees. Metrics that will be utilized would be performance reviews and surveys.
o Synthesize all your prior paper components: (Literature Review, Metrics, Analytics, and Other Measurements, Talent and Workforce Management, and Strategy, Culture, and Change Management) into a final paper, with a title page, table of contents, body with an introduction and conclusion, reference list, and any appendices. Note that for your final paper, you should not simply merge the previous paper components into a single document. Rather, it should be a thoughtful, fully integrated plan that demonstrates your achievement of the HRM program outcomes. (I have uploaded all the papers worked on).
Your Effectiveness Plan Paper should include the following:
Applies foundational disciplines of HRM to be an effective HR practitioner and integrates evidence to support the strategy.
Employs strategic thinking and business acumen to be an effective strategic partner and integrates evidence to support the strategy.
Utilizes leadership, change management, and consultation in the roles of an HR practitioner and explains the benefits of using the strategies.
Applies and interprets the law and the legal responsibilities of an HR manager and identifies the consequences of not following the legal responsibilities.
Analyzes data and metrics to support and evaluate HR programs, and integrates evidence to support the strategy.
Applies the SHRM code of ethics to decision making and practice and identifies the consequences of not following the ethical responsibilities.
Communicates in a manner that is appropriate for the profession, both in written format and in presentation format, and consistently supports the ideas with evidence.
