Describe Implementation Plan for a New Economic Opportunity

Implementation Plan for a New Economic Opportunity Professional Context As a Master’s level health care practitioner you may be expected to create budget and implementation plans to ensure that economic opportunities for the organization are rolled out successfully and can be sustained over multiple years. Additionally, it is important to be able to envision how an economic initiative could be used for different contexts and purposes to keep the investment a viable and positive asset to your organization or care setting. Scenario The senior management members have sent you their thanks and notes on your feasibility study for your proposed economic initiative. They have determined that your proposal has the potential to benefit the organization in both the short and long term. The last step in this process is to complete a thorough implementation plan for your proposed initiative. This plan will need to include a budget of relevant expected material, staffing, and capital costs over the first five years of the initiative (see the Resources for some examples and guides about budget planning), as well as projected earnings from the initiative for the care setting. You must also include a plan and timeline for rolling the initiative out, an analysis of how it may impact other aspects of the care setting, an explanation how it can remain viable in the face of environmental changes, and sufficient relevant supporting evidence. Instructions In your 610 page plan, you have been asked to be sure to address the following. Note: The bullet points below correspond to grading criteria in the scoring guide. Be sure your work is, at minimum, addressing each of the bullets below. You may also want to read the scoring guide and the Guiding Questions: Implementation Plan for a New Economic Opportunity document to better understand the performance levels that relate to each grading criterion: Create a budget for relevant expected costs and earnings or benefits over the first five years of your proposed economic initiative. Propose a plan to roll out your economic initiative that will enable your care setting to successfully implement it in an ethical and culturally equitable way that will ensure achievement of quality or service improvements. Analyze how your proposed initiative, once implemented, may impact other aspects of your care setting and ways in which negative impacts could be mitigated. Explain strategies you have integrated into your proposed economic initiative that will ensure it can remain a viable asset to your care setting in the face of dynamic environmental forces. Justify the relevance and value of the quantitative and qualitative economic, financial, and scholarly evidence you used to support your recommendations throughout your plan.

Policy Brief should focus on a recent public policy in Australia:Explain

Policy Brief should focus on a recent public policy in Australia. Its purpose should be providing an overview of issue(s) that a recent public policy might have caused and possible recommendations to address the issue and/or alternative policies. This is a non-academic paper and the audience that of the Policy Brief is an imagined (and, maybe, recently elected) policy-maker(s) in a government. Any federal policy that divided/united Australian people recently is the ‘right’ choice for your analysis.

Public Health Evaluation: Do you think that appropriate data collection and analysis methods were used? Why/why not?

For this assessment, you need to read the following published article: Norman A, Nyberg G, Elinder LS, Berlin A. One size does not fit all qualitative process evaluation of the Healthy School Start parental support programme to prevent overweight and obesity among children in disadvantages areas in Sweden. BMC Public Health. 2016; 16(37). Write a 1000 word discussion paper about the evaluation presented in the article, reviewing the design, methods, outcomes, and quality of the evaluation. You may consider: – What does this evaluation tell us about whether this public health program works? – This evaluation is described as a process evaluation would an impact or outcome evaluation of this program be possible? What would it involve? – Do you think that appropriate data collection and analysis methods were used? Why/why not? – You may wish to comment on the sampling and recruitment of participants, choice of focus groups vs. interviews, choice of interview questions. – What other information could be used to evaluate this program? – Do you think this evaluation could be used in determining whether to fund this program? Why/why not? – To whom should the evaluation findings be disseminated? – Was the reporting of this qualitative analysis clear and transparent? – Overall, do you think that this is a good quality evaluation? You can structure your discussion paper according to your own preference, but try to ensure that it is clear and easy to follow

Discussion 1: Systems Thinking

Discussion 1: Systems Thinking If you have a very sick child and were referred to the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center, you may feel reassured that U.S. News and World Report rated this the third best pediatric hospital in the country. Your next question might be to ask: What makes this hospital great? How did it achieve better outcomes than its peer institutions? In 1994, the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center refocused its efforts to aim to be a leader in improving childrens health. Throughout the hospital, specialist teams and departments devised quality initiatives that resulted in measurable improvements (Tucker & Edmondson, 2011). The hospitals senior managers are trying to determine how the hospital can maintain this excellence. As you review the case study Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center, (located in this weeks resources) take note of examples, or lack of examples, of systems thinking within the organization. Imagine that you are a consultant who has been hired by the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital to advise them on their plans to sustain and further improve quality at the hospital. Using the case study, analyze where they have applied key principles of systems thinking and where this thinking appears to be lacking. By Day 3 Post the following: Your analysis of where Cincinnati Childrens Hospital has applied key principles of systems thinking and where it appears to be lacking in their application of systems thinking. Explain the value of systems thinking to the leadership of Cincinnati Childrens Hospital as they aim for new levels of quality. Justify your response. General Guidance: Your initial Discussion post, due by Day 3, will typically be 23 paragraphs in length as a general expectation/estimate. Refer to the rubric for the Week 1 Discussion for grading elements and criteria. Your Instructor will use the rubric to assess your work. By Day 5 Review your colleagues posts and by Day 5, respond to two in one or more of the following ways. Offer a different perspective regarding where Cincinnati Childrens Hospital has applied key principles of systems thinking and where it appears to be lacking. Ask a probing question of your colleague, based on your readings from the week, your own investigation into systems thinking, and/or your experience. You should be sure to include the context for your question and why it is important to address. Offer any additional insight you gained after reading your colleagues analysis. Suggest ways that other organizations can use the lessons from the case to apply key principles of systems thinking and why you think it is important for organizations to do so.

Describe the cultural and financial situation of South Korea.

Look at the cultural and financial situation of South Korea. Now you will be looking at the legal and political environment of this country and how these factors impact doing business. As part of your research, keep in mind that several organizations publish various rankings and indices of political and legal factors in the major countries in the world. One example of rankings is the World Banks Worldwide Governance Indicators page (https://info.worldbank.org/governance/wgi/index.aspx#home). This webpage includes rankings on factors relating the legal and political system such as rule of law, regulatory quality, and political stability. Rankings are given from 0 to 100 on each of these aspects. The World Bank also does some rankings of the ease of doing business in countries across the world. Their doingbusiness.org has detailed reports on most countries on different aspects of doing business. While they look at many different factors, some of these relate to the legal system such as ease of enforcing contracts or getting a business license. It is worth looking up your country on this webpage to get an idea of how friendly your countrys legal system is to doing business. In addition to the Doing Business report, Transparency International does an annual report on corruption around the world and their rankings can be found at . But dont just look at quantitative rankings of your country. Do additional research to get an overall picture of the legal and political system beyond just a numerical score. Once you are finished doing your research on South Korea, write a 3-page paper covering the following issues: (1) The type of government and level of political stability in your country, and whether or not the political system is conducive to doing business (2) The legal/regulatory system in this country and whether or not it is conducive to doing business (3) The level of corruption in your country, and the impact of corruption on doing business in this country
