Many organizations, departments, and individuals provide healthcare to the US citizens. The complex nature of the US healthcare delivery system has driven much legislation for change over many years. Using the South University Online Library or the Internet, research about the healthcare organizations and their delivery of healthcare services in order to fully understand the magnitude of the US healthcare delivery system. Based on your readings and research, answer the following:

What are the main objectives of a healthcare delivery system?Name some of the basic functional components of the US healthcare delivery system. What role does each play in the delivery of healthcare?Who are the major players in the US health services system? What are the positive and negative effects of the often conflicting self-interests of these players?Why is it that despite public and private health insurance programs, some US citizens are without any coverage?What are the main roles of the government in the US health services system?Why is it important for healthcare managers and policymakers to understand the intricacies of the healthcare delivery system?

Choose one of the case scenarios presented in your assigned reading for this module and respond as if you are a clinical counselor or therapist who is a part of the treatment team for the individual within the scenario.

In your initial discussion prompt post, describe any significant considerations for treatment that you extrapolate from the case scenario. How will the helping relationship with this specific individual be different from others? Are there any cultural considerations of which you should be mindful? What social factors will affect your interaction and treatment of the individual?

Next, discuss how you would assess, diagnose and provide treatment for the individual in the scenario. You may need to briefly research assessment tools and/or evidence based treatment options for the individual’s unique situation.

Engage in a follow-up discussion with your fellow learners as if you are a part of a peer consultation group. Post follow-up responses that consider the following questions: What considerations (cultural, ethical, social, etc.) might have been missed initially? Do you think the presented means of assessment and treatment are best for the individual in the scenario? Ask any questions necessary to clarify the original post.

You are currently the head trainer of a global U.S. automobile manufacturer. The organization has decided to expand its operations into the Eastern market such as China, Japan, and Singapore. The vice president of human resources has asked that you create a proposal outlining your plans for a new hire orientation program for the Eastern market. In your proposal, include the elements listed below.
Discuss how the Eastern market will potentially view new hire orientation, and then discuss two to three ways to tailor the new hire orientation to this market.
Discuss how the Eastern market perceives the relationship between the learner and trainer.
