Discuss Religion in the World Today.

As you learned in Lesson 2 of Unit 1, religion remains significant for a vast majority of human beings in the world today. For this discussion, you should present a specific argument or thesis, based on your studies through this course, about how or why religion continues to be so important for so many people. You can approach this argument in a variety of ways, but you should use a discussion of specific aspects of at least three different religions we have studied this semester to support your argument. This is a wide-ranging discussion, so you should not need to provide any more depth of discussion then you have from materials we have studied this semester. You are, however, welcome to use outside sources, as long as you provide proper documentation.

Social Cognition in Adolescents – Discuss The role of mentalizing in risky decision making in social context.

I wanted the Introduction, Rational & Literature review & Conclusion to be written for my hypothesis. To test the hypothesis: 1. Mentalizing network activated in adolescent brain during uncertain decision-making is different from risky decision-making in a social context. 2. The task complexity increases the activation of the mentalizing neural circuit in adolescents during risky social decision-making. 3. Female adolescents have increased activation of the mentalizing network compared to male adolescent while taking risky decision-making in a social context.

Explain why you support the implementation of the policy.

You have been working in a criminal justice agency for almost a year now, and one of your goals for your annual review is to propose new ideas or support new policies. With a month before your review, you are ready to work on this goal. Research a new or proposed criminal justice policy you support. Write a 700 to 1,050-word memo in support of a new policy in which you: Describe the policy. Explain why you support the implementation of the policy. Provide statistical data in support of the policy. Explain how the data supports the policy.

Describe International Relations.

You are required to have six pages minimum of text, then a bibliography. You are required to quote material from at least six books or academic journals that you found in the library. Academic journals are defined as those containing at least 10 foot/endnotes per major article. Feel free to consult other sources; this is a minimum requirement.Your assignment is to explain a historical or current event in IR using the course concepts, models, and theories. Choose an event you wish to explain. Why did this event come about? Why did it unfold as it did? Answer these questions using IR concepts, models, and theories. Make a theoretically informed argument about the most powerful influences on state (and other actors, as relevant) behavior during this event. This argument must answer both of these questions: Why did this event come about? Why did it unfold as it did?You will likely achieve clarity if you structure your paper to answer these questions. The theory/ies you choose will explain the causes of the event and/or how the event unfolded. Unfolded means how the event developed over time once it began. Example: the Cuban Missile Crisis after it began.Make sure all of your evidence serves the task of speaking to (for or against) your answer. This is a diagnostic paper, not a prescriptive paper. The diagnostic tools are the theories we covered in class.Examples of events include but are from limited to the outbreak of a major war, responses to ethnic conflict, development initiatives, and creation and/or demise of major international institutions or treaties.Spend some time in your paper developing the logic of your argument. Spend the most time providing evidence for your argument. Think hard about what kind of evidence will best support your argument. Spend some time discussing the most prominent contending explanations and explain why yours is the most persuasive. Argue clearly, but do not be over-simplistic.

Revenue Forecasting Memo.

You are a financial analyst for the fictional city of Evergreen, Washington. Evergreen is the major business and commercial center for Bonanza County and the surrounding region. As such, many people drive into the city for business, shopping, and recreation. The city has extensive on-street parking and has 2,200 paid parking spaces (either with parking meters or pay stations) in the downtown and commercial areas. The current rate for all spaces is $1.25 per hour. Rates were last increased on January 1, 2015, from $1.00 to $1.25 per hour. As a result, 2015 usage was 12 percent below 2014 levels, 2016 usage was 5.5 percent below 2014 levels, and usage in 2017 and subsequent years returned to 2014 levels. This pattern probably occurred as other parking options gradually became more expensive and as people adjusted to the new rates.Parking rates have stayed constant since 2015 for two reasons. First, downtown businesses have encouraged the city to maintain low rates in ord
