Explain what a device driver is and the types of drivers.

The Linux operating system consists of the Kernel some other minor components and then a large number of Device Drivers. Device drivers are the key to how various hardware devices interface with the computer. Task: Explain what a device driver is and the types of drivers. Then describe in detail how a device driver is written and integrated into Linux (include the necessary data structure descriptions) and detail how a device driver is loaded. You should include a description and even pseudo code of a skeleton device driver. Describe how the hardware and how the application program can interact with the device driver. Conclude with the roll device drivers play in Linux. Requirements: The paper must include an abstract, detailed explanations, diagrams, references and were necessary a glossary of terms. The paper must also include a detailed bibliography of all cited and referenced materials. It is expected that this paper be at least 6 pages in length not including diagrams, abstract and bibliography. Grading: This paper will be graded based upon its completeness, accuracy, and clarity. Failure to site references will result in that aspect of the paper being ignored and not counted in the grading. Rubric: Component Points Clarity of the explanation of Device Driver 10 Detail on how to write a device driver 15 Detail on how to integrate a device driver into Linux 15 Skeleton of a device driver 10 Description of how the hardware interacts with a device driver. 15 Description of how an application interacts with a device driver. 15 Conclusion – the roll of that device drivers play in Linux 10 Bibliography 5 Abstract and Appendix 5

Describe your personal experience and relate it to the theory of development you chose.

Theory Application PaperFor this paper, choose one theory of development (ex: Erikson’s psychosocial stages of development theory). Then choose a specific life stage to focus on (ex: the preschool years). Clearly explain how this theory of development makes sense of this stage of life. What are the key ideas, concepts, terms, etc. that are central to how this theory explains this specific age? You can include a few sentences explaining the theory as a whole (ex: Erikson’s theory includes eight stages that cover the entire lifespan and each involves a crisis…), but please don’t spend time going into detail about other stages that you are not focusing on (ex: how Erikson views late adulthood does not tie into your story about being in preschool, so don’t talk about it).The next step is to apply this theory to ONE personal experience. You might want to ask your parents to share some stories of your childhood if you’re focusing on an early stage of development, or you may wish to focus on an event you clearly remember. (Make sure it is a specific experience and not a general/vague “when I was a child” kind of story. More specific details makes this easier to write and relate the theory to!) This must be a story about YOUR development – not your child, sibling, etc. Describe your personal experience and relate it to the theory of development you chose. How is this experience an example of this theory in action? How would this theorist explain what happened in this event and how you behaved/responded/interpreted it? Tie in the vocab terms and key concepts of this theory into your personal story.

Benchmark – Capstone Project Change Proposal.

Benchmark – Capstone Project Change Proposal In this assignment, students will pull together the capstone project change proposal components they have been working on throughout the course to create a proposal inclusive of sections for each content focus area in the course. For this project, the student will apply evidence-based research steps and processes required as the foundation to address a clinically oriented problem or issue in future practice. Develop a 1,250-1,500 written project that includes the following information as it applies to the problem, issue, suggestion, initiative, or educational need profiled in the capstone change proposal: Background Clinical problem statement. Purpose of the change proposal in relation to providing patient care in the changing health care system. PICOT question. Literature search strategy employed. Evaluation of the literature. Applicable change or nursing theory utilized. Proposed implementation plan with outcome measures. Discussion of how evidence-based practice was used in creating the intervention plan. Plan for evaluating the proposed nursing intervention. Identification of potential barriers to plan implementation, and a discussion of how these could be overcome. Appendix section, if tables, graphs, surveys, educational materials, etc. are created.

Discuss the impacts of Art Appreciation.

In your visual analysis, explain how the artist uses the elements of design according to the principles of design to express their individual visual communication.

What prior knowledge do you have about this artist?

RESEARCH ACTIVITY #6 •Your second paper will be a comparative analysis of your author (PAULO COELHO) from Paper 1 and any artist of your choice. Keep in mind we are not comparing a writer with a writer, however, it is up to you to select an Artist in any other medium: painter, sculptor, dancer, filmmaker, singer, composer—it’s up to you!
