I understand how it could make sense to be included in this class, but it did not seem to benefit my learning. Transforming America’s Educational System was an odd assignment for me. I like that this assignment made me think through an initiative, but my lack of context around implementing an initiative made it harder for me to complete this assignment. First I saw the assignment of code switching quite fun, I still remember the video we watched for that topic. May be it is because everything that the lady said in the video I could relate with it. That it is okay to code switch for purposes of survival but it is possible to maintain your values too while code switching.
