Services include speciality MD consults, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. They also provide some other speciality OP services like massage, acupuncture, and wellness classes. In a calendar year, OP services see approximately 55,000 new patient evaluations with over 500,000 patient visits. Therapists see between 8-12 patient visits daily. To accomplish this goal, teams will perform research and analysis of methods, strategies, data, and best practices used by similar healthcare facilities to drive down cancellation and no-show rates. Outcome Goal: Students will identify one best practice strategy that Spaulding could implement to help reduce the rates of no shows and one best practice strategy to decrease cancelled appointments.
