The series for this week focuses specifically on a case of sexual assault and the longstanding issue that women’s stories are often not believed. Alongside series that overtly take on sexual assault, there is also a wide range of series that talk about sexuality in a range of ways–sexual pleasure and preferences, sexuality at multiple ages, non-mainstream sexual preferences such as BDSM. How do we see evidence of women’s perspectives in these recent series?

First, you will identify the determinant of health and the issues related to it that you are working to address.

Next, offer and explain a specific health policy or law that could be enacted to alleviate the issues of the determinant of health.
