This week we focused on two different groups of women, white women and Chinese women in California during and after the Gold Rush. Your discussion for this week must compare and contrast the different experiences that these two groups of women had in the Golden State. I understand this will not be a perfect comparison because our first learning unit focused on white women during the Gold Rush, and our second learning unit focused on Chinese women after the Gold Rush has already passed.
