This also goes along with the idea that map is not territory. The Jewish religion has a major focus of the mapping of time. The mapping of time may mean different things for different people, though. This adds to the fact that there is “a” Jewish story, but there is not necessarily one narrative to the story. For example, everybody does not observe shabbat in the same way, but there still is “a” Jewish story. “A” Jewish story does not have to have a single narrative.”
