Explore how variables confound and interact with each other through exploratory analysis.

Module 4 Analysis Activity: People Analysis People Analysis: Utilizing material from the course and from personal experience, and using a publicly available data set, based on a series of hypotheses, you will theorize a series of statistical learning models to analyze a market population. Instructions: Read through the resources below. Select a dataset from the many available datasets found online (here is a quick list of several very useful datasets: https://www.tableau.com/learn/articles/free-public-data-sets). After picking a public dataset look at what variables are available in the data. Explore how variables confound and interact with each other through exploratory analysis – you may use any data exploratory software like Excel, Tableau (free for students, see the links below), Python, etc.). Based on the exploratory analysis in the dataset, come up with 3 different questions, or hypothesizes, an organization you are familiar with may have concerning stakeholders the data examines – suggest what kind of statistical learning analysis might answer that question. Submit a short report concerning your insights and future questions about consumer to ask with the data. Discussion 3: Conspiracy theories and concerns on Human Rights and Democracy

The rise in conspiracy theories and fake news through internet technologies has been a matter of growing concern. Efforts to identify and debunk sources of such misinformation through web channels such as FactCheck.org etc have had limited success. In the United States, the recent case where members of the group called QAnon sought to infiltrate feeds of organizations against child trafficking has furthermore brought attention to the ways in which issues of genuine importance like safety of children can be manipulated by different groups for their own interests. This week’s prompt invites you to focus on the prevalence of conspiracy theories and their potential to harm issues related to human rights and democracy.  You are encouraged to identify such instances in different parts of the world and analyze them. You can draw from your own experiences and share your personal strategies in guarding against such news.  Here is the link to the news referenced in the prompt: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/12/technology/qanon-save-the-children-trafficking.html

What sorts of values and considerations would the Christian worldview focus on in deliberating about whether or not George should opt for euthanasia?

The practice of health care providers at all levels brings you into contact with people from a variety of faiths. This calls for knowledge and understanding of a diversity of faith expressions; for the purpose of this course, the focus will be on the Christian worldview. Based on “Case Study: End of Life Decisions,” the Christian worldview, and the worldview questions presented in the required topic study materials you will complete an ethical analysis of George’s situation and his decision from the perspective of the Christian worldview. Provide a 1,500-2,000-word ethical analysis while answering the following questions: How would George interpret his suffering in light of the Christian narrative, with an emphasis on the fallenness of the world? How would George interpret his suffering in light of the Christian narrative, with an emphasis on the hope of resurrection? As George contemplates life with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), how would the Christian worldview inform his view about the value of his life as a person? What sorts of values and considerations would the Christian worldview focus on in deliberating about whether or not George should opt for euthanasia? Given the above, what options would be morally justified in the Christian worldview for George and why? Based on your worldview, what decision would you make if you were in George’s situation? Remember to support your responses with the topic study materials.
