Activity – Case Study Analysis

There are no exact answers or perfect solutions to case problems. Indeed, each recommended solution and justification can and is usually different comparatively among a group of respondents. The solution must fit the case and must be vigorously supported. The problem statement, analysis, selected solution, and especially the justification of the selected solution are all critical elements in the case method. There are no short cuts to case presentations but a formalized methodology that enables the case presenter the optimal way to solve the case problem.

Complete and submit a case analysis of the one of the case studies you read in the assigned readings. Your case analysis you should address all the discussion questions for this case. Your case analysis should set forth in a factual manner, the events and organizational circumstances surrounding a particular managerial situation. Your role is to diagnose and size up the situation described in the case and them to recommend appropriate action steps.

Learners are directed to access course readings and videos through the different web platforms utilized by the university. For the readings in this course, Learners should log onto their SLP (student learning portal) and access Library Services. From there the Learners will refer to their course syllabus and articles assigned for reading for that unit. To develop information literacy skill, Learners will search for the readings on the various library platforms or Google Scholar, using the title and all other information provided to find the course reading articles. If Learners are required to watch a video, there may not always be a link provided, so the Learner should go to the web platform that the video is located on and use the title of the video, along with any other information provided to research and discover the required courses videos to watch. Researching the course articles and videos aligns with the information literacy competency that every Learner is able to research articles and access video materials that will aid in gathering and understanding the concepts discussed in this course.
