David Gibson, an analyst at Macquarie Securities, a broker, reckons that his antics account for a third of the company’s software sales over the past ten years.

This is the outline I sent my professor. For something old, I was thinking about maybe incorporating an old video game? I used to play super mario brothers on the nintendo 64 (I think that’s what it was called.) I thought this would a good thing to use in my essay because it’s something I was very obsessed with and it’s very old. I also feel like a lot of people my age played this game because it was super popular. People still play this game today but other/newer versions of it. If the research doesn’t do much, then I was thinking about Forrest Gump. It’s still a popular and talked about movie as it came out the year I was born, so SUPER old 🙂 I feel like both options can relate to pop culture in some way. A platform game developed and published by Nintendo. The successor to the 1983 arcade game, Mario Bros. When this game was released it helped launch the gamings popular franchise. It stars Mario and Luigi, two Italian plumbers who find themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom trying to rescue Princess Toadstool from the evil King Bowser. It’s one of the best selling games and has over 40 million copies sold. Super Mario has become a global cultural icon. David Gibson, an analyst at Macquarie Securities, a broker, reckons that his antics account for a third of the company’s software sales over the past ten years. Games in which he features have sold over 500m copies worldwide. The film Forrest Gump was an enormous success at the box office; it became the top-grossing film in America released that year and earned over US$677 million worldwide during its theatrical run, making it the second highest-grossing film of 1994. I will add a quote and do an oreo for this topic. For something new, I saw this show on netflix that I’ve been wanting to watch. It’s called All American and I’ve heard really good things about it. This show can relate to issues we are having today and there can be a lot to talk about with this show. This show basically represents Black Lives Matter. It also shines light on rich and poor, gangs, violence, police brutality, and LGBTQ. I can talk about a lot of this in this essay. The show’s main image is completely realistic. I will add a quote and do an oreo for this topic. For something borrowed, I already reached out to a friend and asked her to suggest one of the topics and she suggested a comedian named, Bill Burr who is also an actor and a podcaster. William Frederick Burr is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and podcaster. Outside of stand-up, he is known for playing Patrick Kuby in the AMC crime drama series Breaking Bad. Bill Burr talks about politics and other things so I can focus on one of his stand ups or one of his podcasts. Finding context and history in one of them. Bill talks about statistics in one of his episodes so instead of finding a general statistic, I can refer to that video? Or even some of his interviews. I will add a quote and do an oreo for this topic. For something blue, I will probably talk about the show FRIENDS or talk about music because I tend to turn to these things when I’m feeling sad or blue if you will.
