Requirements and Guidelines:
Please construct a 3-4-page paper response to the questions below. Please note that all work must adhere to 7th edition formatting guidelines. It is expected that you will include at least 2 references from the course material (book chapter and a journal article for example) to support your response. Please adhere to the academic integrity policy of the university and the expectations on avoiding plagiarism. Work must be submitted in Word document with an APA 7th ed cover page and a reference page.
Based on the case script you created in your previous assignment (Assignment 2 from Module 3), stage a session with a ‘client’ (the ‘client’ can be a friend or family member or even a neighbor). Place your phone or any other video recording device you may have in a manner that is mostly focused on you as the social work intern. This way, the video can present and show both verbal and nonverbal responses. Make sure that the recording room and area are quiet and free of distractions or background noise. Please test the audio and video for few seconds and once confirmed that the recording will be successful you can begin the session.
You are expected to adhere to the script you created in Module 3 and enact it. You must do the following in the interview:
Make use of the strength perspective with a client at least 2 times throughout the session.
Model Phase I of the helping process.
Illustrate at least 3 skills related to exploration of the client’s presenting problem.
You must treat this as a first session with a client even though you have some background information about the case.
