The following topic is for the project – a social welfare policy issue that affects a population at risk – The population to work on is HIV.
Prepare a brief proposal addressing the following:
State the issue – Explain the significance of the issue to you both personally and professionally – Articulate the social justice implications related to the issues – Identify a task that you will perform to address the issues
(Examples are: (1) writing to a legislator; (2) writing a Letter to the Editor of a newspaper (3) attending and participating in a rally; demonstration or march; (4) attending and participating in a community meeting or event related to the issues)
Evaluate the effective of the task performed in relation to the issue.
