Step 1:
Choose two works from the LISTEN to the Experts Table media presentations (next slide) and find still shots of the works to save to your desktop. You must select artworks from this table, only. In an MS word document include both images (1 MB each max).
Under each image write the following:
Step 2:
1. The title of the work and the artist. (Titles of artworks are capitalized and always italicized or in quotation marks.)
2. Describe what you see in the artworks that you can name. If you see un-namable shapes or objects (abstract objects), describe their colors, line quality, texture, shadows, variety, etc.
3. Which Principle of Art is most obvious to you in each work?
4. Describe how each artwork uses the Principles of Art similarly and differently (compare and contrast the Principles of Art you see in each artwork).
