The essay should be a minimum of three complete paragraphs. Complete paragraphs have at least four complete sentences. The essay should begin with an opening sentence that introduces the essay topic. The essay should end with a summary sentence that restates a few key points and ties it up in a logical ending. Define the concepts of addiction (psychological dependence) and physical dependence. Then describe both concepts by comparing and contrasting them. Use drug examples in both the definitions and in the compare and contrast portions of the essay. Include original content in pointing out differences and similarities.
