The four movies to choose from are:
Thirteen Days (2000), Dr. Strangelove: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964), Eye in the Sky (2015) and Hairspray (2007)

1. Provide a summary of the movie (a paragraph or 2 max). Use a summary that will help you match the film to your IR theory.
2. You must provide a summary of ONE of the IR theories you are exploring (a paragraph or 2 max).
3. Defend why your film and your theory match
a. Who are the main actors in the film? (Are they states, individuals, IOs?)
b. What is the conflict which engages your main actors?
c. What tools do your main actors prefer? Why?
d. What IR logic does your film use (logic of consequences or logic of appropriateness)?
4. What does this film say about I.R? Is it still “the relations between states” or do you need to update this definition?
