Reflect on what past experiences made you want to start that specific career path. What are you hoping to achieve with this career in the future? What concerns do you have about the career right now? I’m seeking my bachelor’s in human services with a minor in counseling/ my ultimate goal is crisis intervention psychologist. I have been intrigued with the mind and ones behavior since I was 13. I grew up in a home where my dad was an alcoholic and drug addict. life was terrifying at times and I wanted to know what made him that way. so I started researching the brain, mind , behavior and addictions form checking out books at local libraries, and studying it. I want to help teens recognize the dangers, the signs, the red flags, and educate them on how easy it is to become part of that by your environment and help them to refrain from using drugs. I want to help families who are torn and help piece them back together because I know what it is like to grow up in a home as this.
