Critique the way in which Texas politics interacts with US governmental politics.

Texas politicians and the Texas political system are very unique. We operate in a way unlike any other state. Review and critique the way in which Texas operates based on its role in federalism. Do we cooperate, do we assist, or do we only provide difficulties? Utilize recent/current event examples to showcase how Texas has interacted with federal government in the past few years. Discuss how that has gone – has it been successful, did Texas shine in a positive light, did we appear to be the “cowboys” that everyone thinks us to be?
While including research and examples, you can reflect on your personal perception of Texas in national politics and how influential we may or may not be. Also, determine if you feel, or the research suggests, that we as Texas may set the mood for the nation on certain topics. Are we that influential? Or do we just believe we are?

2.Explain the differences and similarities between microevolution and macroevolution ,giving an example for each one.

3.Which primate traits are likely to be adaptions to arboreal lifestyles?

4.List five traits that distinguish Lemurs and Lorises from the anthropoids

To answer these questions you must use the text book :Introduction to physical anthropology (2013-2014 edition) by Robert Jurmain and outside source.

Reviewing Appendix B in Butts, choose two of the Nine Tenets of the Code of Ethics for Nurses and describe how you will personally apply each tenet in the practice setting with your patients. Describe in detail the purpose of the tenet and provide examples of the tenet applied in practice. Explain why it is important to uphold the tenet in maximizing the quality of patient care, and identify how it enhances your own practice as a nurse.

In Week 3, you created an annotated bibliography on a set of topics. For this assignment, use that information to write a thorough literature review. Develop a paper from the information you collected as well as what you learned from your course and text readings. To supplement your literature review for this paper, find two more scholarly journal articles related to any of the topics here (added to the six articles you reviewed in Week 3, for a total of at least eight articles; see article criteria from W3 Assignment 2):

Criteria: Clearly identify and describe your chosen disorder. Include the following:
The typical age of onset of the disorder
Symptoms or criteria for diagnosis
The typical course or progression of the disorder, causes, and multicultural and diversity factors (including gender)
Associated problems or disorders that tend to co-occur
History: Describe the history of the disorder. (Explain how our understanding of the causes and treatment of the disorder has changed over time.)
Theories: Compare at least two psychological theories that seek to explain the causes and symptoms of the disorder.
Treatments: Identify and describe three of the most effective (on the basis of your research findings) treatments for the disorder. Provide information from your sources to back up your statements.
Write a paper in Microsoft Word document, adhering to the following guidelines:

The length of the paper should be 12–14 double-spaced pages (including the title and reference pages).
The paper should have the following sections:
A title page
Introduction: This should be 1–2 pages in length. The introduction provides a brief overview of what will be covered and the purpose of the paper.
Literature review: The literature review should be based on the information you gathered and analyzed in Week 3, in addition to at least two additional articles. In total, you should be including at least eight academic journal articles in this paper.
Discussion and conclusion sections: The difference between a great paper and a marginal one is the depth and originality of the discussion and conclusion sections. This is where you bring together what you learned from the literature review (as well as through the course) in your concluding remarks regarding your topic.

Explore Piaget’s concept of preoperational thought/stage at home. Among your family and friends, find a preoperational age child (ages 2-7) or a child who is older (then supposed to be at the concrete operational stage of Piaget). Ask the children to carry out some or one of the conservation tasks we discussed in class (i.e. with the liquid in different glasses or coins spread out on the table). I know that it is difficult to visit relatives or friends in this time we’re in, so it’s okay if you watch a video on youtube and describe that one, while also copying the link so that I can also check. 1. Discuss your favorite Alfred Hitchcock films (select any 5-7 films of your choice) assigned for this course and why his films continue to have an enduring appeal.

2. Provide a comparative analysis of Hitchcock’s directing skills and style regarding suspense in his British and American films assigned for this course.

3. Compare/Contrast Hitchcock’s approach to depicting romance in “Rebecca,” “Notorious,” “Rear Window,” “Vertigo,” and “North by Northwest.”

4. Explain how Hitchcock’s use of humor regarding the characters and plots of “The Lady Vanishes,” “Foreign Correspondent,” “Shadow of a Doubt,” “Rear Window,” North by Northwest” enhances the appeal of each film.

5. Discuss Hitchcock’s earlier (1930s), middle (1940s) and later (1950s-1960s) films. Over time, what remains the same and what is different regarding the types of characters, themes and use of suspense in the films?

Translate the VOC into the VOP. Using the HCAHPS survey from CMS, develop a measurable indicator for the first 25 questionnaire items. Provide an example for each of the 25 items. Here are a couple of examples to help get you started:

1. How often did nurses treat you with respect? Percentage of times a nurse called a patient by his or her name.

2. How often did nurses listen carefully to you? Number of times per visit the nurse interrupted the patient.

Topic: Crime Displacement

Crime displacement represents change in crime due to the preventive actions of the individual or society. Crime displacement can take many forms. The possibilities of displacement should be considered when evaluating any crime prevention program. In this paper, you are to describe and explain crime displacement and its effects.

At a minimum, you need to address the following components:

Define Crime Displacement;
Describe the key assumptions underlying the idea of crime displacement; and
Analyze the evidence on some of the different types of displacement found in the research.
You are to write an academic paper describing and analyzing the above components.

Discuss three main causes (reasons) for prejudice and racism in any given society.
