1) Assignment (Due: Friday, 11:59 PM EST): All students must listen to at least two other team presentations and respond to the questions presented below with posts (original plus two additional). Students will need to create a new Thread in the M13 Discussion in order to complete this assignment for M14.
NOTE: Revised Grade Item (M14 Online Participation): This is an individual assignment for each student to complete. There are 10 points possible for the quality of the posts to at least two team presentations.
When reviewing team presentations imagine yourself a potential donor or investor in social enterprises, make notes on the following questions and be prepared to discuss your insights:
Does their theory of change have the potential to impact the social need identified?
What element of their business plan were you most impressed with?
Identify one suggestion to advance their business plan, or their “pitch” presentation, that might help attract potential investors or donors going forward?
In this project, you need to prepare a description of the environment and the inhabitants of the system assigned you chose. Afterwards, you should list and
explain all the physical properties and magnitudes that play a role in the system. For example: birds can fly, how? why?; the chameleon changes color? how? why? what is the physical process involved?
Be creative, think about all the different parts of physics that we studied in this course and try to apply them to the system.
