Chapter 3 Reflections
This chapter breaks down the different types of dramatic structures for plays. Keeping what you read in mind about episodic and climactic structure, think about current TV programming. Usually, you will discover that situation comedies (30 mins) are more likely to have a climactic structure, while one hour crime and action shows tend to have an episodic structure (1 hour).
Name a TV show that has a climactic structure and one that has an episodic structure and explain why they fit into these categories. Get specific.
