Choose one public corporation in an industry with which you are familiar. Research the company on its own website, the public filings on the Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR database, the University’s online databases, the Nexis Uni database, and any other sources you can find. The annual report will often provide insights that can help address some of these questions.

Write a four- to six-page paper in which you do the following:
Assess how globalization and technology changes have impacted the corporation you researched.
Apply the industrial organization model and the resource-based model to determine how your corporation could earn above-average returns.
Assess how the vision statement and mission statement of the corporation influence its overall success.
Evaluate how each category of stakeholder impacts the overall success of this corporation.

In the US, population data is collected by the Census Bureau every 10 years. In some states, annual population data is collected and analyzed for population growth. California is one of those states. Using annual population data reported for California, compare the arithmetic, the geometric, and the logistic curve approaches to population forecasting for California. To begin you will need to gather annual population data for California (searching “Census data California” should put you on the right track; follow the Labor Market lead for example). You will find annual data from 1991 to 2017. Next, analyze that annually reported data using (a) the arithmetic method; (b) the geometric method; and (c) the logistic curve approach. Your solution should include all supporting and formatted graphics/tables, sample calculations, etc. for your work (remember please, graphs and tables are not used to present results, only to supports your findings/work). At minimum you should include the following graphs: California’s Annual Population Data A graph to support your arithmetic model fit/analysis A graph to support your geometric model fit/analysis Graphs to support your logistic curve fit/analysis including your validity check Finally, a graph including the reported population data comparing the model results of the three models tested would be superb! Which model (explain) do you feel provides the best population forecasting approach for Califo

Explain the complexities of your community and any background information is critical to a complete understanding of the culture or the issue. Make claims throughout your paper and use data from your research as support for your argument, or goal of advocating for a specific solution.
Solutions: This final section of the essay should focus on solutions to resolve the issues that you’ve explored. Consider how a particular innovation, art form, program, or education might improve or lessen this problem. What solutions are in place to address these needs? What solutions haven’t yet been implemented? How does you solution address the final stage of the civic engagement process—advocacy, or action, and change. Describe how your solution becomes actionable—e.g., a plan or strategy that will lead to change.
