The purpose of this literature review is to provide an in-depth overview of research pertinent to the subject topic. You will need to identify current relevant research papers (i.e. published since 2015); classify your selected papers; and use your references to “tell the story” (i.e. how other researchers support this topic). The focus of the literature review must be on IT projects.

Your final research paper should contain a title page, an introduction, an overview of literature review, a results/discussion section, a section on conclusion and recommendations, and a reference page.

The introduction of this literature review should include the research question and purpose, scope of the literature review, significance of the topic study, and background information. This section sets the theoretical framework for your research paper.

Overview of Literature Review

This section of your literature review should summarize the findings of relevant studies that you have identified and selected. For each study, you should briefly explain its purpose, procedure for data collection and major findings. In addition, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of particular studies.

Remember that a literature review should not be a listing of articles or researchers but rather a flowing article incorporating both prose and citations.

Results/Discussion 

This section should synthesize and analyzes the literature with focus on central ideas relevant to the topic; critically evaluate sources and perspectives; highlight any consensus or disagreement on the topic; identify gaps and controversies, as well as study limitations if relevant.

Conclusion and Recommendations 

This section should briefly summarize key literature review results and provides a compelling argument/conclusion that is appropriately qualified (given study limitations). In addition, provide recommendations for future research.

1. Discuss some of the different types of Data Mining and Statistical Software. What are some of the key features of the software? What are some of the points of comparison? Which software package do you think is preferable for a statistician?

2. Prepare a  paper on some of the various types of data mining and statistical software and the features thereof.

The purpose of this project is to demonstrate your understanding of the following course concepts:

1. How companies or organizations and individuals use digital or social media to effectively communicate ideas, information, arguments, and messages to achieve a specific goal.
2. How digital or social media has transformed the communication of an idea, information, and arguments in society.3. Access, analyze, interpret, and evaluate digital media to foster learning and to guide decision-making.
4. Make responsible choices in the creation and consumption of digital media based on awareness of global, social, ethical, and legal contexts.

1. Write a brief discussion, in your own words of how the article relates to the selected chapter Key Term. A discussion is not rehashing what was already stated in the article, but the opportunity for you to add value by sharing your experiences, thoughts and opinions. Project Description
In this project, you will select a topic discussed in class from the list provided below, conduct additional research on the topic, and share this information in a research paper.

Purpose: The primary goal of this weekly summative assignment is to critically analyze some of the important political science concepts, terms, and theories that were covered this first week of our course.

Prepare: access the web page Primary Documents in American History: Alien and Sedition to read about the Sedition Act of 1798.

Reflect: This week, you began learning about the major concepts, terms, and theories that embody political science. In this weekly assignment, you will connect the concepts of atomization, peer policing, and preference falsification to how a government can govern. These three techniques are often used by political leaders to prevent radical groups from forming in opposition to the central government. Analysis of how these techniques are used by leaders to oppose any collective action to overthrow the system will broaden your understanding of how governments maintain control over their citizens.

Write: In your essay of at least three pages, you will draw connections from the Sedition Act of 1798 to the concepts of governmental control discussed this week in your course text, A Novel Approach to Politics, by addressing the following:

Describe the Sedition Act of 1798.
Discuss how the Sedition Act of 1798 enhanced governmental control over U.S. citizens (1 page).
Explain how atomization, peer-policing, and preference falsification techniques were utilized in the Sedition Act of 1798.

For each chapter attached (Chemical revolution, New Biology and Science & Gender) from Bowler & Morus Making of Modern Science, write approx. 450 word reading response addressing the following points:
1. Explain in your own words at least one of the discoveries described in the chapter. Why is this discovery considered significant?
2. If the chapter describes a scientific episode, did the authors consider the scientific episode to be “revolutionary”? Why or why not? Or, if the chapter describes a theme, summarize how the developments described in the chapter significantly shaped the development of modern science and/or society
3. What aspect(s) of the chapter did you find most interesting? Why?
4. Come up with one discussion question for class discussion during the class in which we will be exploring this topic. The question should be interesting (and perhaps provocative?) to generate a lively class discussion.
