Your country just overthrew its dictator, and you are the newly elected President. Unfortunately, due to the divisions in the country and the years of war, economic, military, and political structures are non-existent. A group of loyalists to the old dictator have been detonating bombs, murdering civilians, assassinating leaders, and terrorizing towns with help from a neighboring country’s dictator.

Create a comprehensive plan for your new government. While creating this government identify 1) the governing style of your government and the principles that govern your leaders (see rubric); 2) the functions of various branches of government; 3) how to maintain public good in domestic areas through at least two programs; 4) an economic structure that is most beneficial to your citizens; 5) ways to create national unity; 6) ways to combat terrorism and violence; and, 6) international organizations to join.

The authors of ORGB Organizational Behavior discuss Functional Conflict in Chapter 13. Provide an example of addressing functional conflict from a business publication. Please identify the conflict, the organization’s approach and the outcome.

The auditor has always received good cooperation from a particular client and has no reason to question management’s integrity. The controller has requested that the auditor inform her about which warehouse locations that the auditor will visit during the upcoming inventory count. In addition, the controller has requested copies of the auditor’s observations on the physical inventory because she wants to make sure that a good inventory was taken. Explain what the US DOJ may be asking for in such a “consent judgment” (ie. the changes in City Police policies that should occur and how they will be monitored for progress)

Propose a press release statement for the Chicago Police Chief and the Mayor to read to the press in response to this report—make sure the statement is short and strikes the proper tone and would be well received by the general public. Do you recommend that in the press release statement that the City of Chicago admit all wrongdoing and admit full liability? If not, why not. Do you recommend in the press release statement that the City of Chicago deny all of the allegations of wrongdoing and announce an aggressive defense of the impending federal lawsuit by US DOJ to be filed to reform the police department? Why/why not.

Announcement, research and select a Nuclear, Chemical, Biological, or Radiological agent or Toxin of specific interest to you and provide a clear, detailed and overarching examination of your selection that demonstrates your scholarly understanding of the threat posed by the selected agent.

At a minimum you are to discus and expound upon the following in the form of a clear, organized and cohesive narrative:

State the name of the agent and describe its historical development. Cite one case where the agent has been used.
Describe the physical/chemical/biological properties of the agent.
Discuss the harmful impact of the agent – identify its mechanism of action – how does it do damage?
Discuss the protective equipment that should be employed by first responders in contending with the selected agent as well as clearly indicate (supported by your own research) commercially available detection devices (a minimum of two) that could be used to detect the agent by Consequence Management responding agencies.
List any treaty/policies covering the agent and or prohibiting or controlling its availability or use.
Cite any current news article referencing the use or development of the agent and summarize how that agent was utilized to its maximum potential.

Read through chapters and answer questions below.

What steps did Woodrow Wilson take to avoid American involvement in the First World War? How did minorities in America participate in the First World War? After the end of the First World War, how did the American public react to the new order that reigned throughout the world? How did American society change during the 1920s and did any of the changes speed up the coming of the Great Depression?

1. Discuss the potential for the use of chemicals – specifically Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs) and Toxins.
2. Describe what TIMs and Toxins are and how they differ from weaponized Chemical Warfare Agents (CWAs) and biological agents.
3. Discuss which concern you the most and why – from the standpoint of being able to prepare against the use of or mitigate the impact of the effects of the use of. State and clearly support your position.

You have analyzed and ethics complaint via three documents—an evaluation, the complaint, and the ethics board’s decision. But would you be able to identify the ethical problems? And more importantly, would you understand how to avoid committing them in the first place?
