Analyze, in an essay, the movie Tightrope (1985). In your paper, you will focus on two or three specific scenes from the movie. You must include the timecode number (which says how many minutes into the movie the scene is) for the scenes you analyze. The main focus in your paper needs to be on how the movie depicts myths and archetypes of New Orleans. Which aspect of the city’s society, culture, or history is the film most concerned with? Analyze how the film selects, presents, and prioritizes what it chooses to show. How compatible are the film’s representations with the historical record? Why does the film represent New Orleans as it does? What mystery or conflict in New Orleans or American society does the film seek to explain?
What are the core issues that the parties must negotiate and agree to during final status negotiations? What are the interests, needs, and demands of Israelis for each of these issues? What are the interests, needs, and demands of Palestinians for each of these issues? During Camp David in 2000, and the Olmert-Abbas talks of 2009 how were each of the core issues addressed, and what disagreements remained? If you had to propose ways to bridge the gaps between Israelis and Palestinians what would they be, specifically?
