This assignment is meant to promote direct observation, application, and reflection of material covered in the course. The student is expected to take the necessary time to look for indications of the phenomenon we have been studying in class. Name the stage and give examples to support your conclusion. Comment on possible positive or negative resolutions to earlier stages as well. Also, make observations about the child’s self-esteem and self-concept. 2. What stage of moral development is the student in according to Kohlberg’s theory? Name the stage and give examples to support your conclusion. 3. What have you observed that might point to the child’s learning profile? This discussion might include areas of multiple intelligence strength; general IQ; special education needs; or area of giftedness? 4. What have you observed about strategies that may be helpful for this child’s learning needs? 5. Include any other observations or thoughts that you think might be helpful in presenting an understanding of this child’s learning profile. 6. Lastly, what key points have you taken from applying course content to this case study observation assignment? Include a reflection on the purpose and value of an applied case study as an assignment.
