Individual Presentation in 2 tasks: Task 1: Referring to your proposal for a charitable cause project, decide: what charitable cause is of the greatest value to you, and think of an event you could organise with a group of friends or volunteers in order to raise funds in support of the project. Whats the idea charity and event? Why would your proposal be of value to management and society? Whats your budget? How much funding would you like to raise? Task 2 You will use the information developed earlier and create your slides. You will pitch the proposal to your management. what are the assessment expectations? what documents do you need to submit? how many slides should there be in your presentation and what do you need to include in those? You will be pitching your charitable event project for Assessment 1. Looking back at the task done in the previous session, do you remember? How does the presenter open his pitch? What questions do the investors/donors ask him? What do the investors/donors/sponsors base their decisions on? Why is he successful? What tools of persuasion does he use?
