the essay should include 1) an interpretive question or follow up question you have about the text. 2) Which framework or blend of frameworks do you find most convincing so far (Animal welfare, animal rights, rights of ecosystems/nature, indirect duties to nature) 3) Which diets and ways of relating to the land are consistent with this framework? Answers can be short. (IT IS OKAY IF THE ESSAY WAS INFORMAL)
