A limited number of scholarships are awarded to accepted graduate students who meet or exceed the normal SCAD admission standards and who demonstrate financial need. To apply, please submit a 500 word essay detailing the following:

Why should SCAD invest in you with additional scholarship as opposed to the other students who are inquiring about additional funds?
What will be your biggest obstacle to starting your creative journey at SCAD? How will you overcome it?
If given additional scholarship funding, what is your financial plan for any remaining balance not covered by federal aid or scholarships?
If you do not receive additional scholarship funding, what is your plan?
What other steps have you taken to earn scholarships at SCAD? What other scholarships have you applied for outside of SCAD?
