A limited number of scholarships are awarded to accepted graduate students who meet or exceed the normal SCAD admission standards and who demonstrate financial need. To apply, please submit a 500 word essay detailing the following:   ·       Why should SCAD invest in you with additional scholarship as opposed to the other students who are inquiring about additional funds? ·       What will be your biggest obstacle to starting your creative journey at SCAD? How will you overcome it? ·       If given additional scholarship funding, what is your financial plan for any remaining balance not covered by federal aid or scholarships? ·       If you do not receive additional scholarship funding, what is your plan? ·       What other steps have you taken to earn scholarships at SCAD?  What other scholarships have you applied for outside of SCAD?
