Write a paper based on a contemporary media piece (one that was NOT used in this class!) in which some aspect of disability or the experience of disability is a major theme. Media sources may include a book, movie, episode from a sitcom/TV show, or popular music. In the paper, you are required to analyze the media source selected. Your paper must be 600-900 words. The purpose of this paper is to view the media’s portrayal with a critical eye and consider the implications such a portrayal may have for society and PWD.
