The agency I currently work for is Cornerstone of Medical Arts (inpatient medically supervised detoxification and rehabilitation program. How effective has it been working with other providers in the field? How is my relationship been working with other providers? What is my long term goal in being on this committee? How this committee has benefited the community and keeping the communities safe and drug-free? The purpose of Monthly QCASA meetings is held on the third Wednesday of every month in Queens Borough Hall.  During this time, providers, consumers, and other vested interested partners gather to discuss treatment modalities, availability of treatment for varying populations, state regulations for practicing substance abuse treatment, supportive services, and much more!  We stay connected to support one another as professionals and keep current with services for our participants.   Additional information: The Queens Consortium on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (QCASA) With addiction impacting many lives today, we have included a variety of providers and services that we hope will assist you, Additionally, there are links for you with additional information and services in the addiction field. The Queens Consortium on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (QCASA) is an alliance of substance abuse treatment providers and consumers within Queens County. The Queens Consortium on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (QCASA). The Consortium services the people of Queens County by targeting issues of chemical abuse, promoting healthy behaviors, and networking professionals and consumers with the common goal of addressing issues that impact those who have been affected by substance abuse. Through a collaboration with NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), our goal is to promote awareness, unity, and social change within Queens County.
