The final paper of this course will be an essay on La Dolce Vita a feature-length film from Italy, and create an in-depth film analysis on it. You will examine the various historical and political events and artistic movements that directly influenced the aesthetic and thematic elements within the film that you select.You will discuss the different film making techniques used throughout the course of the film and make educated assessments on the filmmaker’s motivation behind using those techniques
