My topic is Homelessness in America the policy in federal funding for homeless programs is the Housing and Urban Development. HUD’s McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants program is at the core of federal efforts to end homelessness. Homelessness is a problem that has to be encountered from all the sectors of the government from the local to the federal level. The federal government will provide policies for the whole of the nation and funding for the people and transfer funds to assist in payment of the social programs (Mago, et al. 2003).
