Describe Nursing E-poster presentatiom.

Please read all the attached file carefully, There are 5 patient scenarios, you can choose any that you like. The most important thing about the E-poster are: 1. The age and lifespan developmental stage of the identified patient. 2. THREE (3) specific types of harm/injury that the patients are at risk of during their hospitalization. 3. THREE (3) factors that increase the patient’s risk of harm/injury during their hospitalisation (i.e. why your patient is vulnerable) 4. THREE (3) potential consequences of harm/injury for the identified patient. 5. THREE (3) strategies that you would use in your clinical practice to PREVENT these types of injuries or harm from occurring to patients.

Analyze a current issue in clinical practice and identify a quality improvement (QI) initiative in the health care setting.

Scenario Consider the hospital-acquired conditions that are not reimbursed under Medicare/Medicaid, some of which are specific safety issues such as infections, falls, medication errors, and other concerns that could have been prevented or alleviated with the use of evidence-based guidelines. Analyze a current issue in clinical practice and identify a quality improvement (QI) initiative in the health care setting. ( I have chosen patient falls) Instructions The purpose of this assessment is to better understand the role of the baccalaureate-prepared nurse in enhancing quality improvement (QI) measures that address safety risk. This will be within the specific context of patient safety risks at a health care setting of your choice. You will do this by exploring the professional guidelines and best practices for improving and maintaining patient safety in health care settings from organizations such as QSEN and the IOM. Looking through the lens of these professional best practices to examine the current policies and procedures currently in place at your chosen organization and the impact on safety measures for patients, you will consider the role of the nurse in driving quality and safety improvements. You will identify stakeholders in QI improvement and safety measures as well as consider evidence-based strategies to enhance quality of care and promote safety in the context of your chosen health care setting. Be sure that your plan addresses the following, which corresponds to the grading criteria in the scoring guide. Please study the scoring guide carefully so that you know what is needed for a distinguished score. Explain factors leading to a specific patient-safety risk. Explain evidence-based and best-practice solutions to improve patient safety related to a specific patient-safety risk and reduce costs. Explain how nurses can help coordinate care to increase patient safety and reduce costs. Identify stakeholders with whom nurses would coordinate to drive safety enhancements.

Review a letter to Ms Gardel.

letter to Ms. Garland about her article “Let’s Really Reform Our Schools”.  In your introduction tell who you are and why you are writing her.  Then explain to her which of her ideas you agree with and why, and then which of her ideas you disagree with and why.  In a conclusion, possibly give her one or two of your ideas for improving high schools and your final comments.  The six things Garland wants to change are 1. no mandatory school for troublemakers or those who don’t want to learn, 2. wear uniforms, 3. only healthy foods served in the school cafeteria, 4. no competitive sports between schools, 5. no cheerleaders, 6. no prom dance at the end of the senior year to celebrate graduation.

What are the premises of the cultural differences argument?

What are the premises of the cultural differences argument? How does cultural relativism imply infallibility, the unlikelihood of disagreement, and the impossibility of moral progress? What is the empirical theory known as psychological egoism? Do you think it is or is not a good explanation of human behavior? How does it relate to ethical egoism? What is meant by Mill’s quote, “Better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a pig satisfied?” Who, according to Mill, gets to decide this? Explain these key terms from Kant: the good will, categorical imperative, hypothetical imperative, maxim, universal law, (people are) ends in themselves. Recall the thought experiment about Anne Frank. Imagine that in 1944 you own the house where the young Anne Frank and her family are hiding from the Nazis, and the Nazis ask you if anyone lives there. You can lie and save Anne and her family from death in a concentration camp, or you can tell the truth and doom them. What would Kant have you do in this situation? What would Mill have you do? Which response do you think is better?

What was happening at the time in the U.S. and England?

Papers should be 3-5 pages, double-spaced, 12-point font, and in a word document. Your paper should include footnotes (or endnotes), bibliography and a discography. Your research should include at least three sources (reviews, articles, books). For more information about proper formatting please visit: Papers should include a thesis statement and a conclusion and include your own insights and ideas about the facts that you gather. I am not looking for a strictly “historical” paper but a paper that includes your assumptions and opinions (supported by other articles, etc.). Select one of the following topics to write about: 1) There are two Beatles left: Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Discuss one of their current careers. Do you think they should have retired with the band? Why or why not? What do you think of the fact that they are touring? Should a musician ever retire? Has his style changed since their Beatles days? 2) Write a paper on a modern-day production that uses the Beatles music. This can include a musical such as “Rain,” Cirque du Soleil’s “Love,” or a discussion of the ballet music written by Paul McCartney,”Ocean’s Kingdom,” which premiered September 22, 2011, to name a few examples. 3) Are the Beatles still one of the greatest bands ever? Why or why not? Are they still important? If so, how? Locate articles that may support your argument. 4) Compare the Beatles with another rock group of the era such as the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd. How were they similar and different? Select a specific album or time frame (early rock or psychedelic rock) to support your claim. 5) Discuss the life and contributions of ONE of the Beatles after the group disbanded. What was his music like post-Beatles? Was his work as strong as it was in the Beatles? 6) Many people still blame Yoko Ono as the reason for the Beatles break-up, though Ono continues to be an artist and activist in her own right. Does she deserve this hostility? Why or why not? Please locate articles/interviews to support your claims. 7) Many bands have gone on to cover the music of the Beatles. Discuss various covers and how they are different or similar. Do they take away from the original or keep the world wanting more Beatles music? 8) First, read the article about “Paul-is-Dead” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_is_dead and then discuss the 1969 hoax. How did this tale emerge as one of rock’s most enduring urban legends? Have there been similar ones since then with other rockers? 9) Discuss how the women in the Beatles’ lives changed them or influenced them. 10) John Lennon made the following comment in 1966 which has been since called “The Jesus Controversy.” Lennon said that Beatles had become “more popular than Jesus.” Discuss the situation. What was happening at the time in the U.S. and England? What do you think of his statement? Was it incorrect or an opportunity for a media frenzy? Here is a short documentary on the issue: Jesus – John Lennon Controversy (Part 1 of 4) (Links to an external site.) Jesus – John Lennon Controversy (Part 1 of 4) 11) Discuss the role of manager Brian Epstein in shaping the image and success of the Beatles. Do you think he was successful? Had he lived longer what do you think his influence would have been? 12) How do you think George Martin contributed to the studio explorations of the Beatles? Discuss his history as a musician and producer and his long-standing relationship with the group.

Describe the Hindenberg disaster.

Thesis: Modern day airship travel would have been completely different if the Hindenburg disaster had not taken place and halted progression. Airship travel was quickly gaining popularity especially throughout the aviation community. After the accident, airship travel dwindled due to public opinion. Modern day airship travel is not as appealing as it was before the Hindenburg disaster. Include this source somehow: Morrison, H. (Director). (1937, May 6). Live Broadcast on the Hindenburg Disaster [Radio broadcast]. WLS Radio (Chicago).
