Individual Project Papers should be a Microsoft Word document, double spaced using 12 point (none bold) Times New Roman font, pages numbered, and structured in accordance with the APA format.

Formulate a crisis communication plan for a local, state or federal municipality, public safety department, or nonprofit. The material necessary to complete this assignment is available in the assigned text. You must cite at least 5 scholarly sources in your paper in proper APA format. AVOID major sections of block quotes unless it is absolutely germane to your paper. Do not OVERUSE bullet points without supporting explanation and DO NOT copy task by task from the final chapter and appendices.

The Final Project Paper is to be submitted in the following format or organization:

I. Cover Page to include the Course Title and Number, Your Name, Title of Final Paper, Professors Name, and Date

ii. Acknowledgment of own original work certification statement.

iii. Table of Contents

Page 1 Introduction. Similar to an executive summary, outline organizations and stakeholder entities involved and their respective missions related to public safety. Bullet points may be useful, but only in addition to narrative writing.

Pages 2-5 Purpose and Objectives, Key Publics and Notifying Key Publics. Define the foundational policies that establish the crisis communication plan. Describe publics and stakeholders and ways in which they will be notified. Include how you will communicate and accommodate special needs populations.

Pages 6-9 Team, Directory, and Spokesperson. Explain the crisis communication team selection and assigned duties. Detail the media spokesperson, the establishment of an incident command center, and any interagency collaboration.

Discuss the integration of offshore wind and “green(er)” ammonia production and the integration of “green(er)” ammonia with national energy system of republic of Croatia .

Ad 1.
The use of surplus power from offshore wind will be used for production of “green” hydrogen that can be blended with “gray” hydrogen and used in Haber-Bosch process for ammonia synthesis. Source of nitrogen can be either cryogenic (low-cost, but unflexible) or membrane (high-cost, but flexible) separation. Produced ammonia will be partly “green”, or decarbonised. Ammonia can be stored with relatively low cost and used afterwards.
This will be modelled in Matlab or Python. We can provide Python model which can be translated to Matlab.

Ad. 2. Ammonia can be used for decarbonisation of:
energy sector via direct combustion in gas turbine (after blending with additional H2) – likely to happen
energy sector as an energy carrier for DAFC (direct ammonia fuel cell) – only prototype of DAFC exists
final consumption sector – agriculture (as fertilizer) – could happen
final consumption sector – transport (for combustion in internal combustion engines) – not likely to occur, may be skipped
final consumption sector – transport (as an energy carrier for DAFC or PEM fuel cells) – could happen.
Options will be tested in EnergyPLAN, a model that simulates national energy systems.
