Then, analyze the leader in regards to the following:  Prefer Martin Luther King, Jr.  Dominant Leadership Style Emotional Intelligence Modeling the Way Inspiring a Shared Vision Challenging the Process Enabling others to Act Encouraging the Heart Evaluate the leader’s strengths and weaknesses in these seven different categories, and then provide specific details and examples for each category. Finally, create an improvement plan for the areas in which this leader has some opportunities for improvement. Support your analysis with at least seven scholarly resources.

What is the purpose of making a change?

There is a difference – both should be in the paper The introduction introduces the reader to what the paper will be about, and the last sentence is the thesis statement The background gives the background of the clinical problem. Clinical Problem Statement The statement should be detailed, clear, and logically presented. Purpose of Change Proposal It is to make official suggestions about why a change should occur, so with that being said – you explain why the change is needed. What is the purpose of making a change? What/who will it benefit if you do? For example? If you developed a plan to help decrease burnout, what benefit will it have for not just the unit, but for the patients? PICOT PICOT is present, complete, and incorporates additional relevant details and critical thinking to engage the reader. This means the PICOT question must be present and explained. Do not just write a research question. Details mean details. Literature Search This means you describe how you found the articles you used to support your project. Remember week 1 discussion when we talked about GCU library, CINAHL and other search engines and how you found the articles you needed. You write a paragraph about that. How you search for the articles should match how I find them when I look. Literature Evaluation The literature evaluation must be supported by articles. It must have citations and be detailed. You do not have to show all 8 but you do have to evaluate literature. Utilization of Change or Nursing Theory This means you must discuss how theory supports your research proposal. Theory utilization content is present, compete, and incorporates additional relevant details and critical thinking to engage the reader. Implementation Plan and Outcome Measures You must show how you plan to implement this project and what outcomes you expect to get and why. Use of Evidence-Based Practice in Intervention Plan This is where you summarize and apply EBP to substantiate the decisions you made while developing your implementation plan. What EBP did you find that you are applying to your practice change? Plan for Evaluating Proposed Nursing Intervention This is where you discuss your measuring tools. Rationales are evident.
