Write an essay to manage the terminology of Cinematography.

To complete your Final Exam requirement for this course, you will write a proposal on the same topic you chose for your Elevator Pitch. Assume that based on your Elevator Pitch, I have chosen to fund your documentary. Now you must write a full essay-style proposal, outlining what you consider to be the most important issue facing our food supply today. Discuss what led to the issue, why it is a problem, what the long term impact of this issue may be, and potential solutions to the problem. Be sure to discuss why you think producing a documentary to tell people about this issue will help to solve the problem.
Your journal entries should consist of a thoughtful response to each essay. Providing a thoughtful response means more than just writing a summary. Instead you may ask questions; discuss how this work relates to other literature; reflect on how the reading relates to situations in your life. Discuss the style and writer’s voice. Aim for these responses to be approximately 150-200 words in length (rough guideline). D. As part of your Portfolio Project due in Module 8, you will submit this week an outline of your Portfolio Project and provide an annotated bibliography that includes at least 10-12 academic sources. Format your entire submission following the CSU-Global Guide to Writing & APA (Links to an external site.). Identify how your selected sources are relevant to the major components of your paper. You will be required to account for the instructor’s feedback in your final version of the project. For more information on writing outlines and annotated bibliographies, visit the CSU-Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.).
This assignment apply the five-step decision process utilized by managers to make a variety of decisions. This process has been introduced in the course. It becomes an underlying theme of the course as it is applied to a number of types of decisions throughout the course. The five steps include (1) identify the problem and uncertainties, (2) obtain information, (3) make predictions about the future, (4) make decisions by choosing among alternatives, and (5) implement the decision. With the emphasis on the five-step decision process, material relating to the problem-solving, scorekeeping, and attention-directing roles of the management accountant are streamlined. Your team will 1) Identify the Key Performance Indicators (KPI, such as sales growth, gross margin, net margin), and evaluate your team’s performance in the ERPSim advanced game played (from Dec 3 to Dec 5) using those KPI. 2) Clearly identify 2 critical and not-yet-resolved problems in revenue generation and costs control you will investigate and report about (use visualization to demonstrate it). Make sure you demonstrate the relationship between these problems and your team’s KPI. 3) Identify two plausible alternative explanations/hypothesis of your problem. 4) Apply data analytics & visualizations to your 2 explanations, and make conclusion about your analysis. 5) Effectively communicate your analysis results and make recommendations.
Write an essay about a philosophical question of your choice related to material from Module 3. How will I do that? Review the assigned reading from Module 3. From those materials, formulate a conceptual research question and write an essay that answers the question. Note: Students who have difficulty developing a conceptual question may write about the following prompt; students who write in response to the suggested prompt will not receive credit for the “Thesis” portion of this essay’s grade. If all nations on Earth were to accept emissions restrictions as a means of mitigating climate change then it would almost certainly follow that the economic and infrastructure development of third-world nations would suffer as a result. Is it fair that third-world development should suffer or lag as a result of climate change mitigation efforts? Fair or unfair, would third-world nations be justified in refusing to accept such restrictions? Why or why not? In preparation for writing your essay, write down an answer to the philosophical question. After you have an answer, write down your reasons for believing that answer. Next, imagine how an opponent might disagree with one or more of your reasons and write those objections down. Finally, in a single sentence write down why you don’t accept the objections. Once you have written all of this down–you should have around 10 sentences or so–you will have an outline for your essay. (You don’t have to turn in your outline; it’s just incredibly useful to write one.) Expand on your outline to complete your essay. Support your reasons with references to the literature; use examples to illustrate your points; make clear the connections between all of your ideas. When you are done, submit your essay through the link above. How long does it have to be? Your essay should be a minimum of 1250 words and no more than 1750 words. The words should be English ones (mostly) that are arranged into complete sentences. How will I format the essay? The essay itself must be written and submitted as a Microsoft Word document (file extension *.doc or *.docx), posted through Blackboard (on this page). Essays not submitted through Blackboard in this format will not be accepted. How will I be graded? Essays may earn up to 25 points. See the Essay Grading Rubric (on the “Required Assignments” page) for information about how your essay should be structured. Within one week after I return essays with comments, students may submit revisions for up to five points of additional credit. Students who visit the Writing Center and obtain a signed note may take an additional week. Why am I doing this? The purpose of this assignment is to assess your understanding of the course material and to show you how you can engage long-standing philosophical debates.
This project will challenge you to create a radio commercial for your product. You can use whatever strategies, and programs you feel comfortable using. I suggest using garage band on an apple computer, as this will provide you with the tools to easily edit your commercial and add music or sound affects. There are video tutorials on how to use this software online. This project requires you to produce 60 seconds of airtime. You can use the 60 seconds all together, or do a series of shorter commercials that can be aired at various time slots. (totaling exactly 60 seconds) Post these audio files in a wav format under the appropriate links provided. Make sure that your commercials fit within your strategy, and be ready to explain why and how you expect them to work for your industry. Each ad must be accompanied by a narrative that describes your strategy, posted in Canvas with your assignment. We will discuss in detail the components of a successful advertising campaign. Make sure that yours has a theme, is consistent, non offensive, and uses one of the strategies that we will cover in class. Your attendance in class will allow you to provide specific details in your project, as covered in course lectures.
