Brain-Based Learning and Literacy
Brain-based teaching and learning is a new paradigm of pedagogy. It is one of the most exciting fields in the world of brain research, based on research from the disciplines of neuroscience, biology, and psychology. Brain based learning is an approach that explains how the brain naturally learns best. Locate an article in the Ashford Online Library (Links to an external site.) that investigates research in brain development and its relation to learning and literacy. Provide a summary of the article and explain how the findings can be translated into what an educator can do to enhance learning and literacy.
